Halloween Videos

When it comes to videos, and being creatively amazing ... these are some on my favorites from over the years in more than one language ... the more the better - plus my somewhat descriptions. 

• D U H ... the very classic 'Everybody' by Backstreet Boys (the most out played line 'backstreet's back alright ... every time they're set to perform on stage). It's like that haunted house your friends trick you to go in with them, and shit hits the fan.
• SHINee's 'Married To The Music' is a newly fresh take, and i adore their music. I'm not sure why this doesn't have beautiful views or whatever. Their album 'Odd' sounds pretty amazing.
• 'Monster' by BIGBANG. I like the way their faces shift from one concept art to another. This is from their 'Still Alive' album - which i really like. They're also one of my favorites when it comes to how creative yet colorful and fun their videos come out to be.

• Bonus video would go to P!NK's (one of my favorite artists ever) 'Fun House'. I just adore everything she does, and how she has fun with her music videos.

Not all 'Halloween' but the concepts can fit very well. Post ya next time!

Halloween Movies

H A  L L O W E E N x  F U N 

It's that time of year ... well, like in a week it will be!! 

Here are some of our favorite films/movies we (Carolina & I) like, love, grew up with and all. 

Also, you can read my awesome descriptions lol.

Halloween - i'm sure it's more of the original films instead of the remakes, which make sense.

Orphan - nothing like a new loving daughter ... whom is literally an old psycho lady. #winning

Hostel - i never saw this, but it looks like the Saw/Massacre/Jason stuff.

 

Scream - the first two were the best ones ... it felt really repetitive after the third one.

Scary Movie - the comedy version was really good with the first two, the others were alright.

Stay Alive - pssssst. if this was real - i'll pass in an instant because i'll probably be stuck playing with idiots. 

zombies, anyone? Resident Evil ... always! - get with ladies & gents. female badass. the end.

Shaun of The Dead - a british comedy that i've seen many times: humor & 'horror'.

Monster House - because we're all still kids at heart!

These aren't really just considered Halloween movies, but just a watch on a random day, that just so happens to be horror, suspense and parody of things that scare people. I'm sure you'll all seen the 'Freddy Kruger' films, so i'll just recommend that because he's one of my favorites, and he's coming for you! muuuuuuuhahaha.

Is it Fall or Winter?

Whether it's summer like weather or fall like chills ... New England is literally bipolar in every way possible when it comes to its seasonal love and hate scenery. It's that time of the year when no one knows either to wear a sweater or bundle up in a coat and gloves, because New England likes to fuck with the people living around here. Let's not talk about the serious freezing winter from earlier in the year ... though it feels like it's coming back to haunt everyone. Well, i'm all for the cold like clothing, but when an injury gets worse due to pain occurring thanks to the rain or cold weather - you just want to slap the wind ... no? fair enough. like how is that possible? All i know for sure is that it's boots season, and it's what i've been wearing all year round just waiting for the layers to add on. Sweaters have never left my side, even during the summer ... i might have some body temperature issues,  but it's all good with the love of mixtures of prints and all. Oh! It's also October like HELLO BABY! if only my mind can blurt that out so it can be verbally awesome. sigh. 'It's An Art'

  

When i first saw this on tumblr not too long ago. I seriously thought it was the best thing ever! i laughed because this IS the most amazing thing i've ever seen when it comes to art ... why? because it's my two favorites in one picture. If you know Frida Kahlo, then you know she's an amazing painter and one of a kind, especially with her signature eyebrows. This painting/photo of BigBang's T.O.P is from one of Frida's popular self portraits of herself - this was recreated/imagined by an amazing artist named Toit, whom i also found on tumblr. The work she does is mainly on Korea's biggest talents (boy group) #BIGBANG, and they're all pretty amazing, and i want them:

Including this one of T.O.P (for my love of humor, art, frida, kpop, t.o.p .. & etc) and of Taeyang 'swag or royalty' that i just had to reblog as soon as i saw it, thanks to the captions each of these photos have. I'm also a sucker for things dealing with art, how people see it, and interrupt it as their own to make a creation out of beauty (it), with a touch of humor, history or whatever the case maybe.

There's one of GD (gdragon) with his torso cut open, people surrounding him with their phones, and whatnot - it seems to be a powerful message which i'm sure has to do with his life, and how people can overreact or just overdo everything that has nothing to do with them personally since it's not their body & etc., I personally don't know what went of with the comments or something dealing with GD, but i'm sure everyone can get the message. I never get why people are so into someone else's life the way it is when it comes to being in the spot light - like are you their parents? Sometimes you just have to back up. He's only human, just like all of us.

                  

On that note ... You can check out Toit's work on tumblr, instagram and online shop where you can buy either clothing with these photos or prints. I'm so for the T.O.P Kahlo piece as a shirt and Taeyang as a print for now. I will let you know how the shirt fits and how hard it seems to be to figure out what color i want ...

Do Something

It's a new month, but it's still the same old things that get in the way with new challenges ... or so it seems from this end. If the mental state can be refreshed in any way - sign me up, and make it fast! with a touch of please, not this time. There are things in life we can not ignore or avoid anymore, but those we can need to be pushed to the side or we're forever stuck in a slump we never agreed to ... one we never knew we were in until realization hits, and shit comes at you from angels you never knew existed. It's always easier said then done when wanting/needing to change things, letting them go, and starting new. It's up to you just how it's up to me to get up and do something about that slump (negative vibe) and get with it (positive vibe) to seriously let my mind be at ease. It's a step which needs to be followed one at a time.
