A quick post for a Monday ... don't you wish it was already over?Today's Monday Muse goes to one of my favorite duo's in the music industry ... are none other than Nas and Damian Marley! Ever since I've heard Damian's 'Road to Zion' ft. Nas ... I found them to make great music together, like they were supposed to be this amazing duo - this amazing mix to music. 'Distant Relatives' is one of my favorite albums: the songs through and through, are get better and better - the lyrics stay true to what they represent - I feel like it's sometimes hard for artists to stay or stick to who they are or what they want represent, because it's true to them ... as we can relate to their music. I always enjoyed listening to Nas from a young age, and to still listen to his music, whether it's just him or with someone else - i feel like it's still great no matter how much time has changed/still is changing.
